About Us

Mark and Sonia Corbin

Markonia Foundation is a Barbadian owned registered Charity, founded by Mark and

Sonia Corbin in January 2023 and registered in Barbados in May 2024 - Charity SRN (16602).

The Corbins currently live and work in the United Kingdom where they have resided for over 20 years. Both Mark and Sonia are graduates and former employees of the Samuel JackmanPrescod Polytechnic - now Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) and received their secondary education at the Princess Margaret and Springer Memorial Secondary Schools.

They are also both graduates of the University of Huddersfield with degrees in Automotive Technology (Mark) and Food, Nutrition and Health (Sonia).
